A cherry lambic brewed following the European traditions of the 19th century, this Kriek is made from the juice of the ripe Champagne cherries and has a rich slightly astringent flavor. A long pleasantly crisp finish with a slight almond accent makes this beverage distinctive. It is a product of natural fermentation.
The Medovarus workshop uses only natural components: reconstituted cherry juice, reconstituted chokeberry juice, honey. No ethylic alcohol is added to the beverages, no preservatives, dyes and flavouring agents or pasteurization are used. The production technology is controlled by the autonomous noncommercial research organization "Institute of Mead Brewing".
